This book inspired my father immensely. During the same year my dad visited Jahangir
Art Gallery and saw Black & white photographs of Mr. Bharadwaj (Guruji) which
impressed him to pursue the art of nature photography.
With his Pentax–F and 400mm lens my dad visited various sanctuaries accompanied
with my mother (Abha) as a team-mate, my sister (Aparna) & myself. We travelled
all over India watching and shooting birds on Black & White negatives &
colour TPs.
In the year 1978, we started colour film processing and printing to get the accurate
colour prints of our own shooting. Shortly afterwards he entered the photo finishing
industry under the name of Skylab Colours. I joined the business after acquiring
a sound knowledge of photography as an art & science.
Digital cameras and accessorises combined with perfect printing at our own lab makes
our nature photographs most natural and attractive. Now at the age of 70, after
much persuasion by me, he has agreed to display his work. The photographs of nature
especially birds displayed here on this site is the outcome our efforts in understanding
& displaying the
INCREDIBLE NATURE.
We promise to update the site regularly with our latest photographs and make your
visit an incredible experience of nature. Enjoy….
